Los Angeles-based CQY—pronounced “coy” by those in the know—was founded by designer Samuel Ku, who earned his stripes as the Creative Director at renowned denim purveyors Adriano Goldschmied. The new label, established just last year but already gaining a faithful following, is built on a commitment to long-lasting quality and made-in-LA authenticity. The current collection is comprised of essentials for the modern woman (a mens line is soon to follow) and anchored in a profound respect for the heritage and raw charm of denim. Our favorite piece?
